Fall has always been one of our favorites seasons, we see it as the transition from summer to winter which is our favorite time of the year, so after we had lots of fun with the family during the summer we then need to start taking things easier and start thinking on getting cozy and relaxed. This year, we decided to decorate our home using traditional colors mixed with some neutral colors to give our house that cozy and relaxing feel that we want to enjoy. In this post we will share with you a picture walk-thru-like, of our fall house decor we will be showing you the most common areas in our home, also if you like this post at the very end of the article we share a real home tour super fun video.
1. Entryway
On our entryway, we build this farmhouse table for under $50 and decorate it for this fall season using mostly DIY Fall decor pieces made by Jaz on her channel and some other items we bought in stores.
2. Coffee Area
Even tho our coffee area is kinda incomplete we think it looks beautiful with this restored bench, we find it in the trash, and definitely, it wasn’t trash at all we have been using it for several years now.
3. Fireplace
Our fireplace, one of our favorite areas it has a modern farmhouse look that we love, we create this beautiful accent wall in 2020 and we have been using it for over a year already and we are still in love with it, it’s also a removable piece that we can move from place to place.
4. Plate Rack
This plate rack was also built by us and we change its decor pieces every season we added some mini pumpkins, signs, and of course some fall foliage.
5. Kitchen
The heart of the home, this are we use it really often so it is almost impossible for us to have a lot of decoration all over the place so instead we mount a shelf over the refrigerator with some decorations and add a few DIYs pieces on our cabinets that look great!
6. Living Room
We have been working with our living room for over 3 months now and it isn’t finished yet we plan to make many things here but that will be a future post and video of course. For our decorations pieces, we add a ladder, a tray, fall foliage, riser trays, decorative pillows, and of course some pumpkins to add fall vibes.
7. Hallway
Our hallway is in front of our garage door so what a better idea than having this area well decorated to welcome you every time you come back home, that’s why we did it and we love the results. We added some decor pieces to the floor and also installed a small shelf and put some more decorative pieces on it.
8. Guests Bathroom
We keep the guest bathroom simple with some natural wood texture and some other natural and neutral colors on our decorations.
