DIY BUDGET FIREPLACE MAKEOVER & FALL DECORATING IDEAS

Last year we made this fireplace mantle to replace the one we made for our apartment, and even though we loved the olive green color that we gave to it, we decided to change it to black color and put some new decorations on it.

We thought about black color because is a lot more neutral than green and we can match many other decorations and colors with it.

So we started by painting the stove base first and when it was finished the next step was to paint the body of our fireplace.

After finishing painting we let it dry for a few hours and then we place it back to its spot, the first time we build it we use tape to stick the faux brick wall but this time we use our staple gun instead.

We took all the measurements and we are ready for decorating.

After finishing painting and placing the fireplace we proceed to decorate it with some fall decorations and we think it look’s awesome.
