Easy To Make DIY Entryway Table Under $50

Is always good to save some money on the items we love, so, Why not do it with big items like furniture? Well that’s what we did instead of buying an entryway table for hundreds of dollars we decided to do it ourselves for less than fifty bucks, Believe us it was really worth it, we had so much fun making it and at the same time, we save some money on really useful furniture that will last years to come.

To get started with this project we draw a sketch of how we want our area to look like this includes all the items and colors that we wanted on our entryway. In this step, you can opt to make a brainstorm of things like pictures color pallets, and write detail that you would like in your decor. Once we have this step done it’s time to make it happen.

We begin this project by cutting our 2×4″ wood on two pieces measuring 32″ inches long, we will need four of these wood pieces to make our tables legs we decided to use these 2×4″ because it is a strong wood piece, even tho you can use the size of wood that fits your needs. For the top part we use 1×6″ inches wood boards and cut them at 4′ long because that was the length we wanted our table, but of course you can cut it at the length that you prefer.

Now that we have all these main parts ready is time to put them together. To join the legs to the top we use screws to make it stronger, we also use screws to join both of these parts of the table. Remember that if the wood is twisted using some screws will also help to fix it.

At this step of the process, we decide to use a brad nailer to place all the terminations and the bottom part of the table since it won’t need to carry heavy things. Now we put some wood filler and sand the whole table to remove all the imperfections of the wood and make the surface smooth.

Finally, we stain the table using the “Special Walnut” stain color which looks amazing and we add some decor pieces according to the season. Overall this is a pretty easy project which we spend less than $50 dollars on materials and we are really happy with the results, we really hope to inspire you to have fun, make your own furniture and save some money at the same time. Don’t forget to watch this process in a super fun video at the end of this post.
