Easy DIY Renter Friendly Patio Makeover 2021

Who doesn’t like to have a nice patio to relax or have fun with the family or maybe even drink a nice cup of coffee in the mornings on a day off? I would say anybody would like that… But what happened if the place where you live is a rental home where you can’t do much because you can’t build permanent things on the patio like a fence to have a bit of privacy, well here is a simple and budget-friendly idea that we have created because of these same reasons we just mentioned above.

So to start with this project we decided to buy a really inexpensive patio set from Big Lots. These chairs were $22 each and the table $20, one of the features that we like other than the price is that this is a foldable table, so if for any reason we need to store it or use the table somewhere else it will be easy to do.

We like to make things ourselves, so we build a privacy screen made out of a PVC privacy panel and some 2×3″ and 1×2″ wood we bought at the local hardware store. To make it renter-friendly we didn’t use any concrete, we only use wood to make it easier to remove when the time to move arrive. ( Watch On Video )

After creating this fence screen we needed it to look vibrant so we added some green touches to bring these space to live.

To do this we add some faux greenery on a hanging basket and a we place a Palm tree that we had already in a bigger planter with a more rustic look that goes perfect with our fence.

In addition to the greenery we bought some LED lights at Five Below that will make this space to be radiant, creating a nice warm ambient even at night

This is how our budget-friendly patio looks after a rainy day here in Florida, hope this blog helped you to take some ideas and inspiration to create your own space at home without sacrificing your pocket and time.
