For Autumn you can place a beautiful runner in the center of your table with texture or colors that stand out from the color of your table. If your dining table is large enough, you can add placemats, but if not, you can decide between using a runner or placemats in each of the spaces where the chairs are placed. You can also use lanterns and place candles inside, that contain great citrus scent, or you can also use battery-operated candles, perfect if you have children who will sit and enjoy dinner.
You can have your table decorated only with your centerpiece and your runner or you can always have it ready and prepared with the dishes and cutlery that you want to use. For each space on your dining table, you can first place your charger on top of your placemat or simply on top of your table. The charger plates or service plates are used at full course dinners and to dress up your dining table for special occasions.
On top of your charger plates, you can place your dinner plates in neutral colors to use them season by season. To decorate them you can place your cloth napkins with some daring pattern or design and give color to the space where each of your chairs is placed. There are many ways to fold the napkins or you can also hold them with a nice napkin ring that matches your charger plate if you want. You can also put a nice note that says positive messages on top of each dinner plate, or you can also put a cute pumpkin and fall leaves.
