In this video, we documented our journey of enhancing the interior of our Puerto Rico home with a rustic, wood-focused design. We plan to add wooden elements to a hallway area inside the house. The house’s original wooden beams and concrete floor inspire a rustic yet warm aesthetic that we want to preserve and enhance. After a trip to Home Depot, where we purchased materials, we began the project by framing a doorway and sanding wooden pieces.
Throughout the process, we manage various small setbacks, such as mismeasured wood pieces and obstacles like light switches, necessitating adjustments in the wood cutting and fitting.
