In case you’ve missed it, we have a house in Puerto Rico!! We started our house construction back in 2013 this house is the biggest DIY we ever made. It is not the biggest but at the time it was perfect for a couple and a little baby boy, this house’s dimensions are 32’L x 24’W. After a couple of years, we decided to move to Florida US, leaving the house behind. Many years have passed (and hurricanes too) but in August 2022 we decided to come back to restore and recondition some damages made by time and mother nature. This is a three bedroom one bathroom house and even though it is not a big one it was made with much love with the help of family members. In this photo house tour, you will see all the rooms of our house including some items and furniture we left. If you want to see more details at the end of this post we share a walk thru video tour where we show more detailed information and even exterior areas of the house.
1. Kitchen / Dining
This area dimension is about 18’x 8′ there is no refrigerator, range or microwave in it.
This furniture was made by Jaz’s Dad, it was used as a pantry and we also use it to put the microwave.
2. Livingroom
This is our living room, it is 12.5′ x 8′ in dimensions, this is not our furniture but somebody else put them in there, and even though they are not our style, we use them during our stay.
3. Bedroom #1 (Master Bedroom)
This was the actual bed and dresser (not the mattress) we used to have they are super big and cover too much space, this bedroom is 14.5′ x 10.5′.
4. Bedroom #2
This was our baby boy’s bedroom with a NASCAR bed painted with a light green accent wall, this is the narrowest bedroom of the house with a dimension of 11.5′ x 7.5′.
Since we did not have an air conditioning unit in the house we had fans all around the house.
5. Bedroom #3
This pink color bedroom belongs to our princess, this bedroom is 9.5′ x 8′, and its closet remains unfinished.
6. Bathroom
Welcome to the safest and most expensive part of the house, it is laminated with ceramic tiles, and also we decided to build this bathroom with blocks, concrete, and steel because in case of a hurricane or tornado it will serve as a shelter for us. Measurements 8′ x 5′
