In this video, we share a detailed home improvement project focusing on transforming the entrance hallway of our house in Puerto Rico. The main goal is to brighten and modernize the space by repainting walls, doors, and trim with a crisp white color used previously in our daughter’s bedroom. The project is challenging due to the dark original wood and paint, which required multiple coats. After painting, we add a distinctive accent wall featuring a board and batten pattern with wooden panels combined with a soft, cream color called “cool concrete.” In Addition, we added decorative hanging black framed family photos and a beautiful mirror planned to become the “masterpiece” of the space, along with creative planters to add greenery.
